Hey,
I just got back from the harsh cold weather up in Clearwater FL, and completed my third international regatta. The first day we were split into blue and yellow, i was in the yellow fleet. I had a few good races and after the first day was in tenth. The second day my results were better, but the wind had died down. I was in second for a while but i couldn't kepp up in the front and dropped down to 5th, which i thought was good. My last race i earned myself a 26th, after a poor start and then i went to the wrong side! This would be the start of a longer run of worse results than before. Now the fleet would be split into gold and silver and i was placed in the gold fleet! For the next two races i couldn't seem to get off the line in a good lane and keep my speed up off the start, which left me dragging behind in everyone else's bad air. The third race i got off to a good start, but instead of consolidating on my gains i sailed way out to the right side, which i thought was favored, and got on the wrong side of the shift.
Overall, I think i had a good regatta, but better starts would have lead to better finishes.

I finished 33rd/94th (including silver fleet)
