Had a great time at my first PCISA FJ High School Regatta. We were told we could only sail silver since we were a split team so I practiced in the silver area. Then day of the event they said we could sail Gold since they had more silvers than gold fleeters. So we went for it. Better to be last in gold than first in silver My crew was also changed and I had not ever sailed with him before, he is a freshman and a good strong crew, but we we took a bit of time to get it together. We had one top ten race and that was nice, but otherwise a big learning experience. I know what to work on.
I'll be going down there again on Wednesday night after school for the laser radial ISAF qualifier.
Can't wait!
