| CAMPAIGN SUMMARY |
I am a 25 year old Laser sailor who got his start with racing dinghies at the University of Rhode Island in 2002. Previous to that I spent many summers sailing on Long Island Sound on the family Cape Dory ketch, Rigi.
I started racing Lasers seriously several years ago when I began frostbiting with Newport Laser Fleet 413. During the summers I had a sparatic and low key racing schedule boasting mostly local regattas.
Recently I\'ve graduated from college and decided to make a run at a competitive racing campagin, with the goal of competing in London at the Summer Games in 2012.
I\'ve only recently realized how expensive this endeavor is going to be, which leads to me looking for sponsors.
I have a busy 3 years of sailing planned as I begin training 4 days a week on the water. With luck I will raise enough money and train enough to be a contender in the upcoming Olympic trials!!!! |
