US SAILING\\\'S ROLEX INTERNATIONAL WOMEN\\\'S KEELBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP

Inaugurated in 1985, the Rolex IWKC quickly became the premier women\\\'s sailing event in the U.S. and worldwide. Held biennially, the event provides women keelboat and offshore sailors high-quality racing and an opportunity to compete with top national and international sailors such as 2008 Olympian and 2005 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year Sally Barkow.

We now have a San Diego team to send to this event.

Team met again June 13-14 to race in the Mission Bay Ocean Regatta #2 hosted by MBYC.

Perfect conditions both days - sunny and 8-13 knots. Six boats at the starting line. Our team took 4th four points behind the 3rd place boat. Eric Kownacki, 2008 S20 National Champ came in 1st.
