Position: Helm, Crew, Coach, Whatever
Hometown: Little Rock, AR
I grew up sailing on Lake Erie in Ohio and Michigan and first began teaching sailing when I was 15 years old at Sandusky Sailing Club. My family and I moved to Florida after my freshman year of high school and I continued my sailing career there while traveling back to Ohio for the summers until my entrance into College at University of South Florida. While at USF, I began as a crew for the Co-Ed team and then gradually switched to the B Women's skipper. While on the team I participated in several Nationals and ACC's. I was also nominated Most Improved two years in a row and Most Valuable in my senior year of Sailing.
Coaching-wise, I have taught at Courageous Sailing Center (Boston, MA), Yale Corinthian Yacht Club (Branford, CT), US Sailing Center of Martin County (Martin County, FL) and Davis Island Sailing Club (Tampa, FL). I have coached from 420's, FJ's and Opti's.
