| CAMPAIGN SUMMARY | ||
| Right now I am currently sailing the Optimist for CBYC, and I am on Team Opti Power with Craig Wilson. I grew up around sailing, whether it was U.S. Sabot racing, or just cruising to Catalina on our Cal 31 with my dad and sister who is also an upcoming racer. My dad is the one that introduced me, and has continued with my mom, to back me throughout my sailing career. Recently I attended the USODA Team Trials, hosted by San Francisco Yacht Club, and finished in the top half of the fleet, hopefully making the National Team. (It is still being decided) I am going to attend Scotiabank in St Thomas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and am very excited. It is going to be my very first travel abroad focused on my Optimist sailing. On the meantime I am focusing on keeping on top of my grades, and working out so that I can be the best I can at Scotiabank. Next year I am hoping to make the North American team, and hope to make the South American team, at Southeast Champs, in Florida later this year. With all the traveling and sailing that I am doing, I need support from people and organizations to help pay for my traveling, and gear that I am constantly growing out of, which is why I am reaching out on the internet for some financial support besides the help of my parents. | ||
