| CAMPAIGN SUMMARY |
I am from Dallas, TX and I sail on the Texas Sunfish Racing Circuit. My home sailing port is White Rock Boat Club on White Rock Lake, Dallas, TX. I have been sailing for 5 years now, which I started after recovering from an chronic eye disease that if not treated I would not have the sight I have today.
I began sailing as a cruiser. Some friends and I received bareboat certification from Corpus Christi Sailing Center and then we sailed the entire coast of Texas aboard various Hunter yachts.
I began racing by owning a Catalina 22 which I campaigned on the Texas Circuit. My best finishes were 3rd place in the 2006 Texas State Championship and 3rd place in the 2005 Lewisville Cup.
I then began sailing Flying Scots and still do today.
My primary class of sailboat are the Sunfish and Butterfly classes.
I am now very active with the Texas Sunfish Racing Circuit and recently finished 3rd at the 2008 Wurstfest Regatta.
My goal is to win a 2009 circuit regatta and hopefully qualify for Sunfish Nationals and a Worlds event within 2 years.
I also desire to skipper/campaign a Flying Scot. I just need to acquire one in 2009. |
