To create a new budget, first define its scope. You can set up a budget for each regatta, for example, or you can make one for a certain time period, like a summer or a year. Give it a title such as “470 Nationals” or “Summer 2009,” and
then put in your best guess for the income and expenses that you expect (and leave the other items blank). Use the Calculate button at the bottom to see the totals.

Once you have created a budget, hit the Save button. The budget will be stored under its title in your My Campaign area (but it will always be private and never included as part of your web page). Later you can go back and edit the amounts on the worksheet, print out the budget or create a budget for another event or time period. If you want to save a budget (in order to create another one), export the information to an Excel spreadsheet.
