Campaign Summary

Hey I'm Joseph and I've been sailing before i was even born. When I first started I wasn't very good at racing. But later I decided i wanted to get better so I began to practice a lot. The practice payed off mostly in 2010 when I won the Junior Olympics with my partner Kathrine Stone and we later won all county. After that I team up with Colleen Parsons and we broke the record for our yacht club at Great Oaks Regatta in NO. Even though I enjoyed the 420, I wanted to sail faster boats so I began to race the Hobie 16 and these past years I competed in numerous Juanas Regattas, the GYA Multihull Championship, and just got done racing in the Hobie 16 Nationals. Recently though I wanted to step it up and I started sailing the F16. My partner Shelby Brown and me would practice at least 5-6 days a weak with the help of Randy Smyth, Burt Rice, Matthew Mcgee, and some tips from Brian Lambert. Sadly though my dads kidney problems have got bad and we can't afford to buy an F16. I am confident that if I can raise enough money to get the boat, I will go far and maybe be in the Olympics oneday!
